    Reference materials of dielectric permittivity

    • Name – National and Field Standard Reference Materials (NSRM and FSRM) of relative dielectric permittivity (e) and loss-angle tangent (tgd).

    NSRM enters into accuracy charts 8.403-80 «State System for Ensuring Uniform Measurement. National Special state standard and accuracy chart for measuring means of relative dielectric permittivity of liquid and solid dielectrics in the range of 1-10-1∙107 Hz» and GOST 8.284-78 « Special state standard and all-Union accuracy chart for measuring means of relative dielectric permittivity of liquid, solid and gaseous dielectrics in the range of 1-10  GHz» as working standards;

    In accordance with the Resolution of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification NSRM are accepted as Interstate Standard Reference Materials (ISRM) and permitted to accept without prejudice in the affiliated states: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine.

    • Purpose:

    - packaged verification, calibration and graduation of measuring means of dielectric parameters of substances and materials;

    –    metrological certification of  measuring procedures;

    –     metrological characteristics control of measuring means of dielectric parameters during testing including testing for pattern approval

    • Types of calibration instruments:

    –               dielcometers TANGENS-2M, measuring instruments of dielectric material parameters Sh2-1, Sh2-5, Sh2-6, Sh2-7, Sh2-10, Sh2-11, IDPM, measuring instrument of dielectric parameters of dielectrical oil Sh2-12TM, sample cells ES-1Т, YaD-4, IYaMT, OR-2, OR-2M, OR-3 and etc.

    –               aggregates for measuring methods of dielectric parameters of materials according to GOST 22372-77 «Dielectric materials. Measuring methods of dielectric permittivity and loss-angle tangent in the frequency range from 100 to 5·106 GHz», GOST 27496.2-87 « Electric insulating materials. Measuring methods of dielectric properties in the frequency range from above 300 GHz», GOST R 8.623-2006 «State System for Ensuring Uniform Measurement. Relative dielectric permittivity and loss-angle tangent of solid dielectrics. Procedures of measurements over super-high frequency band», Field Standard Reference Materials (FSRM) and certified measurement procedures of e and  tgd.

    Notes –  supplementary certification of standard reference materials is possible on the basis of solid dielectrics with tgd in the frequency range of 0,1-10 MHz and 1-10 GHz.
    • Delivery in complete sets –
    • Standard reference materials on the basis of solid dielectrics are delivered in sets with documentation in accordance with GOST 8.315-97. A complete set is determined by a type of measuring means of verification, calibration and graduation and a customer order.  Sizes of standard reference materials are           come up to sample cells of measuring means. Standard reference materials on the basis of liquid dielectrics are delivered in a specialized container with volume determined by a customer order.
